Does India have Leaders ?

We are all aware about the recent attacks which took place in Mumbai.
Attacks started on 26th Nov'08, 09:30 PM, however, communications and public statements from India Leaders who are better known as Politicians came not before 18 hours of damage.
Chief Minister of Maharashtra addressed the crowd only at 10 am the next day and called for the emergency meet at noon. Ideally, the people of mumbai would have appreciated if the ministry would have acted immediately and called for a meeting early in the night and worked with the army, navy and air-force and investigated the matter themselves.
Why is it that Mumbai citizens have to face everything themselves and they have to hold each other's hand and face the tough time together ? When it should be Indian Leaders consoling the public and assuring them that the terroists wouldn't be left alive and the country who did this wouldn't be spared too.
The PAK Home Minister condemns this act but, why is it that he is still outside, why cant he put in house -arrest on the pretext of emergency situation ? Till the time, we dont find the correct group we shouldnt be releasing any foreign minister who is under speculations. If President of United States can take tough decisions of destroying a country, on the pretext of doing it for their country and nation, why cant we take independent decisions ?
Why is it taking decisions takes a lot of time ? Why is it that Indian Leaders are so laid-back in attitude ? We need some young educated leaders who are active, know their roles and responsibilties and know how to use their resources.

Yeah, this is precisely my state of mind whenever 26/11 kind of episodes happen. Believe me I am following up all the blasts which have happened during last few months. I was following up our then homemister's careless and nonsense statements. I am too small to comment over this. But what I feel is
1> We Indians simply do not have guts. You are watching the happenings today.
2> We do not honor comittments. Don't take me wrong, today we will shout. But when we sit on the Koorsee, we just forget everything.
2> We are too corrupt people. We won't even mind selling our country for our personal benefits.

Hey liked ur thoughts, but one question.. why is it that we always blame politicians and leaders.. what hv u / us done abt this except for raising a few voices here and there.. i saw ur orkut profile .. u r a geek .. but did u ever try doing some r & d to make something which can help curtail this . this is not about only u .. i am included too .. we are all the culprit of being passes of responsibility on others .. in every day life u too get chance to eleviate ur self esteem...are u sure u hv grabbed those chances ?
